Here is a snap shot of some recent projects
I provided SketchUp and design support to the Towns of Milan, MO and Center, CO, assisting APA's Urban Design & Preservation Division on a "Design-Preservation Rapid Assistance Team" project. SketchUp allows the use of real imagery, so each building is recognizable.
SketchUp can also be used as the base for hand drawings. Here I built a SketchUp model from a topo, and used it to create a hand drawing of the City of Westminster's proposed underpass. I finished the image using Adobe Photoshop.
Learning doesn't have to be boring. I created award winning activity books for the Town of Crested Butte and City of Westminster to explain Planning at a 3rd grade level. These educational activity books can be created for all disciplines of municipal services.
To complete this project, I used a SketchUp base and rendered the final image in Adobe Photoshop. The result is an effective visual that helps explains the project details.
This process involved SketchUp, hand drawing, and Adobe Photoshop to get a soft, visually pleasing product.
I used hand drawing, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create this poster used for community outreach. Eye catching visuals are necessary in this age of transparency.
When Google Earth 3D is available for your town, I can create a model of the proposed development and drop it into Google Earth to create a massing model. This shows the viewer how the proposed will impact the existing.
